Man Groans Within Himself

Man groans within himself waiting for the adoption; the redemption of our bodies.
Redemption always refers to the resurrection of the body, the completed act of redeeming grace.

After initial salvation, the Christian receives the first fruit or first installment of God's covenant, which is the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is God's pledge that we can be joint- heirs with Christ and be adopted fully at the resurrection and inherit all that Christ has for us.

We will inherit: perfect dominion ( lordship), perfect joy in God's presence, perfect exemption from evil, completed glory, completed possession of goodness.

Adoption includes public recognition before angels and men and that we have authority, possessions, dominion, and glory with Christ.

We are not fully adopted until our body is resurrected from the grave.
Once our spirit is joined with our glorified body, we will be fully redeemed.
Until that day our spirit groans for complete salvation.

Hope (faith)links us to our coming glory in the resurrected state.
Hope is the power by which we are saved.

Everything in our salvation experience is a progression toward full salvation, full adoption, full redemption.

The Holy Spirit works inside the believer to bring things of God's will to pass ; including prayers(groans).
We need to see prayer as cooperation with God's Spirit to accomplish God's will.

The Whole Creation Groans

Man was created to be lord of the animals and the earth.
Animals do not possess a spirit nature , so they do not possess a conscience or moral and spiritual abilities to know or love God.
Animals do have bodies and souls, so that they can remember ,love ,and hate.
When man sinned, he lost his lordship over the animals, eventually they rebelled against him, biting, devouring, and killing.

Even the Earth has an organic body, compared to that of a man.
Rocks would compare to bones, vegetation compares to hair, streams and rivers compare to blood vessels, the heated core compares to internal organs, and volcanoes compare to nostrils and mouth's.

Mankind, animals, and the earth were subjected to vanity and corruption when man sinned.
The creation and the creatures groan and travail under the curse of sin until the redemption of man's body.

All creation rises or falls with Man.
Jesus bought redemption for both man and creation.
Now all wait for deliverance and the glorification of God's Sons.

If Adam had not sinned and had remained incorruptible he would have been able walk on water as Jesus did, fire would not a burn his body, water would not drown him, cold winds would not harm.

All this will be reality at the coming glory of Christ.
When the sons of God are manifested in resurrected splendor and power.

Good turned into evil

Satan is very cunning. One of the ministries God has given me is to encourage other Christians with a note of appreciation.
I wrote notes to two of the newly saved ladies in our church telling them we appreciated having them as new sisters in Christ.
I mentioned that I hoped they would continue to spend time alone with the Lord each day and be discipled by the teachings of the church.
I also mentioned that we would pray that their husbands and children would be saved.
Last week I received an e-mail from the pastor saying that one of the ladies felt offended by my note.
She misunderstood my note to be insinuating that she needed discipling.
Luckily, the pastor read the note and saw there was nothing wrong with what I had a written.
I wrote her and said I was only trying to encourage her as a new sister in Christ.
The only reason I mentioned discipling was because sometimes the pastor has someone share new convert lessons with a recently saved individual.
I had not ment to insinuate that she needed discipled, in fact, I felt she was doing very well in her walk with Christ.
She never replied to my e-mail, but at least I tried.
I kept praying for her, and asked the Lord to help me to somehow find out if she had received the e-mail.
Last Saturday, she was out in her yard as I drove by, so I stopped and asked her about it.
She said she had been going to church with her daughter at another church, and she realized it had been a misunderstanding. She said everything was OK.
I thank the Lord for providing the opportunity to ask her about it.
It's just like our enemy, satan, to take something meant for good and twist it into a huge misunderstanding.

Our heavenly Father is just the opposite: he takes the bad things we experience and turns them into something for our good.

Unseen Spirits

1. God has revealed to me that spirits are present everywhere.

 2. We each have a spirit which the Bible calls the inner man. There are unseen spirits all around us.

3.Some of these unseen spirits are demonic , some more angelic

4. Human spirits go directly to heaven or hell according to scripture and do not dwell in this realm.

5.Those seeking to contact the spirit of a dead loved one find the voice of the loved one being imitated by a demonic decieving spirit.

6.Satan is not omnipresent, as God is, which means satan can be present in only one place at a time.

7.His presence seems everywhere because he has millions of familiar and unclean spirits all over the world. These spirits are so familiar with our inner man, that satan seems to be able to read our mind and tempt our inner man with appealing sins.

8.But a greater revelation is : that unclean spirits USE inanimate objects such as alcohol and drugs to make a person more open to demonic influence.

9.If we indulge our flesh in these things we open ourselves up to seducing spirits that influence us to do things we would not normally do. That's why alcohol is called Spirit's.

10.There are controlling spirits in false doctrines and cults that lead us away from the truth of salvation in Christ.

11.The Bible warns us to avoid an angry man.
That's because being around a man with an angry, insulting, cheating, or hateful spirit can open us up to it.

12.Music and lyrics can also contain messages that influence and bring a spirit into our mind. The same is true of videogames, TV programs, movies, videos, books, and newspapers.

13.The eye is a gateway to the spirit or inner man, the hearing is another gateway.

14.It is believed that Satanist's pray for their music to carry an influencing spirit to the hearer. In fact, you can sometimes feel the mean spirit within some songs , TV shows ,and movies.

15.You can observe children being influenced by the violent spirit in some movies and games.

16.Often, it's just a message subtly planted in a show to desensitize us to certain sins, or cause disrespect toward authority, or insult anothers self-esteem.

17.Another false concept is that the spirits of dead individuals can linger in the realm of mortals. This is promoted in movies such as "The Sixth Sense".

18.This has caused many to seek mediums, spirit guides, nicromancers, or trust in astrology.

19.According to scripture the spirits of the dead go directly to hades or to paradise - Luke:16.
Paul said for the Christian, " to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

20.In a seance demonic spirits will imitate the dead person, even sharing unknown information to convince loved ones there is no hell. These familiar spirits know how to lead seekers astray.

21.Seek after the flesh and you will find. Seek the truth in scripture and you will find salvation.

22.But be careful, the spirits know how to twist the scripture to say what they like ; just as satan twisted scripture to tempt Jesus to jump off the top of a building.

24.We were born with a selfish spirit already in our inner man.
That's why David said, "In sin did my mother conceived me." David knew God wanted him to be more than just forgiven of his sinful acts.

25.God wants to cleanse our inner man and purify our hearts with its motives, desires, and propensities. We must be willing to seek cleansing in order to be sanctified and totally surrendered to Christ.

26.God wants to fill us with his Holy Spirit
