Why do I Suffer? Hebrews 5:5-10

He was God's son & appointed to be an eternal priest.
He became the source (author) of eternal salvation.
He still learned obedience from his suffering.
Sometimes suffering teaches us to obey. When we are carefree we are apt to do things our own way.
Sometimes suffering is discipline.
Sometimes suffering is punishment.
Sometimes suffering is a test of character as with Job.
Sometimes suffering shows God's power or grace more clearly to the world.
Sometimes suffering helps us intercede & fulfill the work of Christ in others.
Sometimes suffering provides understanding for others so we can comfort them.
