Setting An Example
1. I see them drinking and cursing in front of their children and grandchildren.
2. I hear them complain that their children's lives and marriages are a wreck.
3. I wonder how their grandchildren will turn out when they set such immoral examples.
4. The sins of the parents are visited upon the second, and third, even the fourth generation because of the example they set.
5. Yet they are blinded to the link between their example and the problems of the children and grandchildren.
6. From the outside looking in it's apparent who has blinded them.
Phone Time
1. News reports tell of children that wish phones had never been invented because parents spend more time looking at their phone than being with them.
2. If you spend more than an hour a day checking your phone you have an addiction.
3. Discipline yourself by limiting your phone time.
4. Self discipline is a gift of the Spirit so its difficult to do on your own. A habit is formed by repetition. To discipline yourself you must repeat it daily for three weeks
5. We would be closer in our walk with the Father if we read the Bible as much as we read our phone or watch videos.
