God's Purpose for Family
1. One of the reasons God chose to send Jesus to earth as a baby was to prove how important Families are.
2.Before God created governments to bring order; or the Church to be His bride; He first created the family and the home.
3. Jesus could have been sent to earth as a fully grown thirty year old man to perform his ministry and die for our sins.
4. Instead the Father sent Jesus to earth through a miraculous birth with a foster father, a mother, and several siblings.
5.God created the family to provide support, discipline, learning, encouragement, and love.
6. The family is utmost in importance to God's creation.
7. Marriage was instituted for security, fellowship, and Godly offspring.
8. There is a purpose for everything God created.
9.Satan's goal is to pervert the purpose of everything God created.
10. He perverts the truth; perverts authority; governments; marriages; homes; and especially family.
11.As Christians who have been spiritually freed from the power of sin and born of God's Spirit we are the family of God and future bride of Christ.
12. Satan especially desires to cause division and destruction to God's family.
13.Pray for peace and power in God's family, your church.
14.The family is being destroyed by secular society today. Even though 37 states amended their constitutions to protect the definition of marriage.
15. God's heavenly home will have family from all nations, past family members who are already there, present family members we only see on Sunday, future members are our children here on earth temporarily.
16. God protects and loves His family.
17. I am privileged and unworthy to be a member of His family.
