I appreciate your comments. I have many Catholic Christian friends so I have no intention of hurting or offending.
If I thought God permitted Christians/Apostles already in heaven to listen to our prayers I too would be asking them to intercede for my lost loved ones.
Scripture says "There is one mediator between God and man the man Christ Jesus"
I think there is a difference between a mediator, which is a sort of lawyer/defender ,and an intercessor (someone who prays for us).
What concerns me is the way some seem to worship the apostles instead of Christ, bowing down to them or kissing the feet of a statue.
It also concerns me that some think performing a ritual/sacrament will bring salvation or sanctification to the soul.
These sacraments/rituals do symbolize what should have already taken place in the heart but scripture tells us that salvation is by faith through Jesus Christ.
Please realize that the wise men who presented gifts to the child Jesus did not bow and worship Mary but worshiped Jesus alone.
God bless you in your journey with Him.
