I heard an actor speaking about abortion who said"Back in the early 70's it was the dark ages, before abortion was legal."
I thought how ironic that Satan suttly convinces people that controlling their own lives & destiny is enlightenment. It's a lie. A reversal of the truth.
In reality when we allow God to control our lives & destiny ,then we have true enlightenment.
Then we accept the truth of God's law & commandments that protect us & our unborn children.
The world is deceived into believing they control their own lives & make their own laws.
They live for self, murder their unborn children, & think they are enlightened.
They are deceived into thinking they are divine within, but in reality the inner man is sinful & selfish.
True enlightenment comes from outside ourselves. It comes from the Spirit of God.
Just as salvation & righteousness comes from outside ourselves.
It is a gift from God; a birth from above.
Nothing we do merits, forgiveness & salvation.
The wages of sin is death (separation from God) , but the GIFT of God is eternal life (fellowship with God) through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Today we are in the spiritual dark ages. Before the 1960's we were closer to enlightenment .
Professing themselves to be wise they became fools.
